Who is Puja khedkar ?
Puja Khedkar is a probationary IAS officer who got an All India rank of 821 in the UPSC exams. She is accused of misusing her authority. . Khedkar has faced scrutiny for her alleged demands, such as requesting a separate cabin and staff during her posting in pune. She is also accused of misusing the disability and Other Backward Class (OBC) quotas to secure her position in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).

Puja Khedkar’s name suddenly came into the headlines recently, after securing the 821st rank in the UPSC exam and entering her probation period. Controversy arose when she used her personal Audi car with red-blue lights and a VIP number plate. She was accused of multiple frauds, including using fake certificates for Divyang and Other Backward Class (OBC) status to pass the Civil Services Examination. Due to these controversies, the Maharashtra government transferred her from Pune to Washim last week. The central government also set up a committee to review all documents she submitted for her civil services candidacy. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has filed a cheating case against Puja Manorama Dilip Khedkar, a candidate of the Civil Services Examination-2022. During their investigation, UPSC found that Khedkar had created a fake identity by changing her name, her parents’ names, her photo, signature, email ID, mobile number, and address. This allowed her to take the exam more times than allowed by the rules. UPSC has filed a criminal case against her and issued a notice to cancel her candidature for the Civil Services Examination-2022. They also plan to ban her from future exams and selections.
